Re:BTCC and Audi

Audi is playing the "political mind game" for which they are
so well known for!(within the racing arena)

Audi is showing their "arses" because TOCA can still impose 3 more
weight penalties,
if need be, to slow the Q's.

Audi still has a "Trump Card" so to speak, with the 2wd car being
introduced,
if need be, anytime during the season. However they cannot switch
back to 4wd once 2wd hits the circuit. So a "dilemma" exists here
within Audi Sport.

What one need to keep a watch-full eye on, is the German Touring, and
Spanish
Touring series. The 2wd car is already running here.

Plus the advertisements being placed in various European magazines,
utilizing the
"banning" of the 4wd car, as an ad campaign to generate sales revenue!
Audi Sport must keep the Audi stock holders happy in order to stay in
business!
Currently (stock holders) are still "riding high" on last years
achievements, and have
hope's for this years. Cumulated with record sales around the world,

Audi is doing very well for an auto maker.

Their not out of the race yet!

Its early in the season, and if one watched last years video of the
BTCC season, you
could witness the Audi's "Dominate" a race when ever they wanted.
After all its
the "interest" people have in the racing that generate ticket sales,
media coverage, and merchandising, throughout the year. This equals
BIG BUCKS to allot of BIG PEOPLE.

Here's where you have to take a "closer look" into UK based racing
event, with a world class field, and a UK based team, leading early in
the season!
This will spark more "home based" interest in the racing events,
generating more revenue. Overall this good for all involved!
Including you and me!
Its "racing" people pay to see, and last year the season was over with
6 races left to go! Not very interesting there.

So, dont give up on Audi just yet!
