Six speed Tranny

I was lucky enought to be with th Qclub in Ingolstaad in January, and
got to ride in an S6Plus that Audi had given Ned Ritchie to drive.  This
car had the six speed (I did miss the turbo push) and my understanding
was that gears 1 and 2 stayed the same, while gear 6 was now what gear
5 used to be.   Meanwhile the old gears 3 & 4 wre replaced with new ratios
3, 4 and 5.

Also, I can't remember the gentlemans name, but an instructor for the Qclub
(He was mine at Lime Rock) out of Indianna had the Hoppen trans
conversion done.  He has a Green 94 S4 with a rear wing on it and I believe
he also has oversized brakes.   The only other thing I remember is that he
is an anesthesiologist. (If that was spelled correctly, I get 10 Bonus points!)

Oh, by the way, I blew the lower Intercooler hose yesterday and not a dealer
in site has one so now I am screwed for the entire weekend!!
