5KTQ injector replacement question

This is my first time on this list so hope I do it right...

I replaced the fuel injectors in my '87 5KTQ as a prelude to installing a
chip and am not sure of the results. The injectors that i bought had the p/n
0 437 502 043 (014) while the ones that were in the car had 0 437 502 032
(014).

The car seems to run OK, but the low speed near idle transition as the
injectors shut on and off is much more abrupt and annoying. While i was
reattaching the throttle cable i snapped the throttle shut by mistake and was
wondering if this would have knocked out some adjustment that controls this.

Might this be an indicator of low fuel pressure? 

As I get things ready i will need any recommendations on chips as well.

As an aside I drove an S4 the other day with the anticipation of being blown
away, and was not. I like my car as much, the S4 didn't seem like $20K more
than mine. The car is nice and is at Barry Nissan in Dartmouth, MA it has 47K
and is on consignment. Steve Kozak is the sales guy that i spoke to. They
know nothing about it, of course.
