There really is no recommended interval any more. You can replace it at 60k
if you want, but I think you'll find that it's much more expensive than it
used to be. That's OK though, the heated sensors seem to last forever for
the most part. The only ones I can remember replacing recently (that didn't
show up as a MIL/fault code) were either recalls, or had mechanical damage.
Oh, and the one's on V8's seem to be less reliable than the rest.
