I don't have any experience with the CC's but I have tried a set of
Hawk's HP+ compound. (The box lists it as a "ferro-carbon compound
suitible for aggressive street and moderate track use)
They work beautifully on the track, but they don't get hot enough on the
street to work properly. In less than 5K miles I had killed a set of
pads, and I had dished the rotors so badly that you could have eaten
soup out of them!
I've since gone back to using a set of rotors and Metalmaster's for the
street (no MM flames please! This is a lighter weight 4k/GT car) and a
different set of rotors and the Hawk's for track use.
