Haudi!
OK, the "results" are in: we're headed for #17, The Apache Court Motel,
(719)471-9440. This #17 refers to the Pike's Peak Lodging info on my
page, http://www.lesbois.com/members/marriott
As of 10 PM MDT Wednesday, they had 7 rooms with one bed (king, $50-55,
depending on AAA, etc), and 7 rooms with two beds (queen, $65-75). They
have no function room, but they do have a totally-enclosed patio that
could pass as such.
If you don't have web access, its physical location is at the
intersection of Colorado Avenue and Nevada Avenue, about one mile north
of the "elbow" in the river. From the AAA book: "Exit 141 off I-25, 3
mi W on US24, 1 blk N on 34th St, 3401 W Pikes Peak Ave, 80904.
Reservation deposit, 7 day notice; no pets. 13 rooms, some compact, all
nicely kept. Quiet location, two stories; exterior corridors; smoking
area, whirlpool. Restaurant nearby. All rooms with cable TV, some with
radio. Takes American Express, Discover, Master Card, VISA." This is a
one-star property, which means: "Provides good but modest
accommodations. Establishments are functional, emphasizing clean and
comfortable rooms. They must meet the basic needs of comfort and
cleanliness."
What I think I know:

Add yourself to this list by calling to reserve a room, in your flavor,
for your dates. ******I'VE ONLY RESERVED ONE ROOM.******* They have 13
more available. Nonsmoking rooms are available.
Tom: I've reserved a NS room for Karen, you, and I for July 3 and 4.
I'll also get your tix from Ben, unless I hear otherwise.
Todd P.: I've lost your friends. Please contact them yourself.
Please keep all replies in check by only repling to the relevant
addressee(s). If someone brings a VHS videocamera (or VCR) and adapter
wiring (assume VHF or 75-ohm inputs), then we can watch Audi videos on
one of the TVs.
