I put a new radio (Sony CD player) into my 100S when I purchased it. Since
there are no wiring diagrams available, I had to do it by trial and error.
Eventually, I got it right. There is a power wire that runs from the head
unit to the rear speakers that runs the amps attached to the bottom of the
speakers. If this power wire (white) is exposed to any of the wires for the
actual speakers, a crackling sound was experienced, especially when turning
the radio on and off. 
Totally off the subject, how did the repair of the oil leak go on your 90?
Did AoA compensate you for the repair? Thanks
