Synchro FS in Boise, Idaho
Haudi,
'86 MY, Silver paint, grey (?) int, roof rack, mostly new exhaust with
no front muffler, 50% on some Kelly Springfields, both diff locks light
when they should, started right up, not quite as smooth as my 4kq (with
all new ignition, fuel and air filters, etc), didn't drive it, AC made
cold. Shows 92,000 and was sold to the dealer (used-car place) as same,
but the salesweenie said the odo's intermittent. Asking a "negotiable"
$3500, allegedly turned down $2500. Engine is "dusty," ie wasn't cleaned
to hide anything, but clean. Cam lobes show no wear. Lite seepage from
the VC down onto intake and towards the AC. Battery is wrong size (can't
ever remember. It's either 41/42 or 42/41). Has the "B" engine, so fur
shur no 130 Hp. Outside: paint is pretty good, without lots of
scratches, but probably ~10 dings and such, chrome (?) for above rear
license is missing, right "front" of rear bumper is ill; windshield is
tired. Inside: looks very nice, no bolster squishing or wear. No power
locks, inside-door remote mirrors, no sunroof. VW AM/FM/cass. Split rear
seat with no rear "shade."
BTW, I looked under the rear end and it's _nothing_ like a late-B2 4kq.
If you want a video or a drive test or ??? let me know.
