Plastic Stuff Breaks

Grrr. My '86 4k has just over 138,000 km on it and this must be around the
time when little plastic parts break all around. Last summer it was the
center vent flap thingie. I figured I'd get to a wrecker some day and
search for a replacement. Still haven't done it. 

So today I'm barrelling down the freeway, with the sun just shining in my
left eye...I grab the visor to maneuver it into position and the thing
comes off in my hand. 

The little plastic socket thingie, the part attached to the headliner,
snapped in two. The mechanism (if you can call it that) in the visor has
completely seized. 

How annoying. Guess I'll be making that trip to the junk yard a bit
sooner. Grr.
