I have a 91 200TQ, that was only reaching 1.4. I took it in and they
replaced the wastegate frequencey valve, which got my back to 1.6-1.7. I
can still only get 1.5 in 3rd, so I'm not completely right either.
1.4 is definitely not normal. There are a bunch of possible problems. I'm
afraid.
