You sound like the kind of guy who'd be good at changing clutch master 
cylinders on RHD cars.

And re-stringing bonnet release wires.  And re-assembling warm-up valves.

On my (legendary) Audi-engined Passat, the handbook stated that top speed
would be reached in _fourth_ gear.
