The heat shield mounted thermoswitch controls the injector cooling fan.
On 86-88 tqs the after-run thermoswitch is just above the upper rad hose
inlet to the head - a 'two blade' type - white insulator with a small red
dot. Short the wires together only to test. Grounding the hot wire will
a: blow a fuse, and/or
b: fry a $110.00 electronic relay (BTDT).
