Final word on Black ragtop and Coupe Q

I spent 3 weeks in german in spring '93 and became very familiar with euro
audis through stops at every Audi dealership I saw!  The coupe was in
production in Europe until the A4 debut, and was sold along side the cabrio
(WHICH THE COUPE WAS THE BASIS OF, not the 90 sedan).  The cabrio was
introduced in europe in '93, and I was able to sample it before the US car
magazines had published their first impressions of it.  The Coupe was
discontinued in the USA after 2 years because of a poor sales strategy, not
because the production run was up.  I brought home a stack of german Audi
brochures which back up my story......Sorry if I sounded overbearing, I just
wanted to clear up the confusion, I have the highest respect for every Qlist
member!
