Nope ... according to my info, 4.11 was the shortest final drive used on
both the Type 088 4-speed and Type 016 5-speeds.  (BTW, Overland Parts was
selling BRAND NEW Type 016s for only $495 last fall ... you might look into
this as an option if your tranny needs rebuilding.)

Well, Porsche used a version of the Type 016 in their 944s ... you might
check out their linkage although you will probably have to modify it a bit.
Of course, given the description of your project, it sounds as though you
can handle this...
