Pearl Touch Up Paint Color Differences?

I went to the local dealer to get some pearl touch up paint for my '91 200q. I
asked if this was for the new pearl cars, because they look a little different
color from the older pearl cars.

She said "that's all we can get". I asked again, she said the difference between
the colors are due to the old paint being oil based, and the new paint being
water based. Even if it did change colors going to water, they could certainly
correct it....

I put the touch up paint on my car on a couple stone chips....NOT the correct
color, it's the color of the new cars....

Does anybody know if this is true about it not being available (I can't believe
it isn't)???? Do I just go to another dealer? 

BTW, can you believe it was only $5.32? I almost had a s*it! Nothing is that
cheap at an Audi dealer......
