No, I haven't. I know someone out there knows how to do this... I just
wish they would speak up!

I spoke with my mechanic, and he said there isn't a secret trick.
Even with top-quality tools, he said he strips the fittings sometimes.
He suggested using a *little* heat.

I would stay away from GPR for lines for these newer Audis. I'm
going to return the set I bought; it just isn't right. The lengths
are all a little off. When I called about needing two more lines
(for a total of eight) they were astonished; never heard of a car
needing eight...

At each caliper on this car, there is a short hose that screws
directly into the caliper and travels to the hard line. Not only
had they never hear of this either, but when I tried to explain
that the male fittings they'd sent were not correct for the calipers,
they claimed that they only knew of that one style for German cars
and could not supply anything else.

So I called TAP instead; they knew exactly what I needed for the
car. Only hitch was that the TAP set was $180 instead of $65... :-(
So, I've postponed this little project...
