4kcsq wanted

Greetings
Thanks to all who responded to my enquiry about a '87 4kcsq with 98,000mi.
I have decided not to buy the car in question for two reasons:
1. the dealer was reluctant to let me take the car to an independent
mechanic, claiming that their used-car inspection checked everything worth
checking.
2. the dealer would not move far enough from the $5300 asking price as I
had hoped (was my expectation unrealistic?)
Anyway, I have fallen for the 4kcsq as a sensible choice for my first
Quattro, and I am actively looking for one. If any listers know of cars for
sale, or can suggest places to look, I would appreciate hearing from you
