OK, I'll play here too...
Low and behold the oil temp sender, is located on the oil pump, bottom
right hand side. Oil pump is located on the front of the motor, just
behind the crank
shaft pulley!
Water temp sender is located on the head outlet water neck, one
feeding the upper radiator hose!
