RE: V8 Steering Rack



Rebuilding a steering rack if you have all the components necessary (seals, 
etc) took me about two hours, not being an expert nor having taken one 
apart.  I repaired the TRW unit from a donor vehicle (1985 LeSabre) for a 
project I'm working on.  I found the most difficult thing was getting the 
darn thing off the severely rotted bolts.
