Don't know if this will help or not -- on a '84 VW Jetta GL-I I once had
the expansion tank had a small pin hole size puncture. Coolant would only
leak while under pressure. Result was slow lowering of coolant level over
course of a week or so. Finally discovered while poking around doing
something else.

In order not to take up more bandwidth --- want to add to WOT throttle
switch thread. Car is '86 4kcsq and, yup, switch isn't working and I don't
know how long it hasn't been.  Repair has been added to growing list of
things I need to do to this wonderful car.
