At 69.9mm it's too long - there isn't room to fit any kind of drive
between
the
end of the driver and the inlet manifold. BTDT - Geodore make a very
similar
driver. Most of the length is in the bit (38.9mm against 31mm for the
socket
body) so I suppose I could chop a bit off - the fuel injector seat is
fairly
shallow.

A pity they don't do a "FAMXS13".

Hmmm, too long? I haven't had that problem, at least in removing the
fuel injector seats on the VW 1.8 L engines. I bought the FAM13 just
for that purpose and it works fine. Haven't tried it on an Audi 5 cyl.
though most of the bit should go into the seat itself allowing plenty of
room for the ratchet. As for the FAMXS13 (a stubby version), they may
not make it but like you suggested you can make your own by cutting some
of the bit off. And the Snap-On guy still guarantees it, at least over
here anyway.
