Jeez, don't you people *drive* your cars anywhere? My '89 100Q has
over 140K miles on it, and Angela's short-commute '90 has almost 100K.

Anyway, to answer your questions, you've just grown accustomed to it.
I can't imagine any shocks lasting 100K from the factory. I'd replace
the shocks only; springs pretty much last forever, or fail totally.
