Hosed?

I'm looking for an alternate source for the double wall,
interior reenforcing braid "vacuum" hose that Audi
uses to connect much of the pressure sensing/control
type plumbing under the hood of the 5000T,TQ
cars.  It has an ID of 3.5 mm and a total wall thickness
of about 3 mm for a 9.5 mm OD.  It really looks
more like a small diameter, high pressure fuel hose
(which I haven't been able to find in local stores).

The Audi part no. is N 020 291 1 and the dealer
wants about US$28 per meter, 5 meter minimum order.
I don't mind buying 5 m but $140 is a bit much.  Any ideas?
