Wrecked Exhaust, Rental car woes...

Howdy everyone, thanks for the sympathy on my deceased exhaust system. Now
on with the countdown...

Wel, we are going with a single downpipe for cost and practicality reason, so
2.25 about an inch bigger than stock, and then a high flow cat, reminder 2.25
system with a dynomax SUPERflow (race inspired, you can see straight though
it) with a 4 inch tip. Not too shabby. The car has also been dropped a bit
while it was out of comission, with Tokico shocks and chopped GTI springs
added, for a 1.5 inch drop up front and what will be a 1.75 inch drop in the
rear.
In the meantime, I have been driving a Chevy Corsica. Several things bother
me about this car, mainly how fast it is (but only in a straight line...) My
friend and I raced a Adnoh Prelude (old style...) and I backed off at 110,
where the car felt surprisingly stable. And then tonight I hit my favorite
little run, 3/10ths of a mile stretch starting with a 90 degree turn, drop 40
feet then up 40 feet again. About 1/2 way to my driveway (which is 3/10ths
from the start of the run.) I redline 3rd in the GTI, 82 mph. Tonight, I hit
90 and backed off, in the Cor Sicker. I keep telling myself "It has a 3
liter V6, that's why..." but it is not consolation. I hate american cars.
