More A/C questions

Hi all...

I'm curious as to how the woman who sold me my 88 80Q last month rigged the
A/C to blow cold on the test drive, yet after the money changed hands all I
get is "luke cold" (is that a term?) air. My friend Scotty thinks she used
dry ice.

Seriously, I can no longer feel the loss of engine power when I hit the A/C
button so I figure the compressor clutch went away? I wonder if any of the
5000 A/C components will interchange with my 80. (SF Bay Area junkyards are
packed with them) Any thoughts? Thanks.
