Re: climate control (occasional lack of vacuum in turbo models?)

Ah yes, the infamous climate control. I still struggle with mine sometimes
too. Yours is the non turbo if I read your nomenclature correctly?  (It
appears that the turbo's have a lack of vacuum in certain running
conditions. Does anyone else out there agree with this?) If you get air only
out of defrost, hot or cold, your programmer is down. Does the air
eventually get to the dash vents once temperature set on climate control is
reached? Is your compressor and AC charge up to snuff? Otherwise, if you
wish I can privately send you (or any others who wish) a collection of ideas
I gathered from all the helpfull people on the list to trouble shoot what
you can. Let me know through private email.  It is about the length of an
average digest plus three .jpg images of an Audi bulletin (posted by a list
member for a while on his web site) regarding the instalation of an extra
filter to stop oil contaminatation of AC programmer.
