    My friend has the sister car to mine, his serial number is ~125 or so
while mine is in the ~509 range.  His car was built in 7/82 also, mine in
mid-83.  While troubleshooting a computer problem on his his car last
saturday we swapped boxes and found his box to be bad.  For the heck of it we
took the covers off both and compared.  Quite different actually.    The
boxes had the same part  # but mine said 
mac 02 v.2   which obviously indicated a production change.  Although
different, they seemed fully compatable.  If anyone has one for sale, please
let me know.  He's not on the net.
