5k hyd pump flush ?s

Hello, 
Just got a salavged pump via post today for my 5000T. It's the right part
and only cost $15- stupid salvage yard, it was one of three non-US cars
there, said my friend who so kindly extracted it and mailed it- Looks to
be not-leaking, but experience (I've done rack and lines so far)
w/Pentosin tells me to make sure the thing is clean, at least, before
integrating it with my otherwise oil-tight system. No big deal if it's
leaky, I now have two of them for rebuild purposes. But how do you flush
one of these on the bench? With what liquid?
