Good points, but since this a very real discovery that Audi engineers made
early on in quattro development it is indeed more than "legend" even though
it doesn't make sense at first glance or with the way the EPA estimates fuel
economy. BTW, I have exceeded EPA estimates with every quattro I have owned
but have never done so with any other car (and there have been more than a
few...) but of course YMMV :)
