A single data point:  Bilstein sports raised the V8 about .25".  Tested
front w/ and w/o camber plates mounted (i.e. let shocks free at top, so
car is just resting on its springs).  Bounced suspension, etc.  A
certain vendor told me they raised the front of the car by an inch
(explaining why his custom spring setup didn't work on my car), hence
the test.
