Depends on who does it. These repair only became legal in Australia a few
years back, tho people have been doing them since tubeless tyres became
available.  I never had much faith in them until I saw it done in the
middle of a competeitive stage at a rally. The tyre was used for remaining
80-90km of the rally & the driver said he'd be using it again, unless he
found a new sponsor.
