Hey

I've been told by my granpa that tars need to be stored laying down. After all 
they ain't horses. 

Granpa said that if you store them too long the air don't stay mixed. If you 
store them standing up, the heavy air's going to settle to the bottom of the 
tar!

The lighter air will then float up and probably leak out of the sidewall.

Best bet is to rotate them every month like you do a good bottle of Chianti.
