so-called window regulator upgrade

Hello,

Have any Coupe owners out there figured out how to get the newer
"updated" style window regulators for their Coupe GT's adjusted so that
the window goes up at a normal speed?

This is my second "update" (first on this car), and both times it seems
the window is painfully binding and causing the movement to be very
slow.  *sigh* I don't want to burn out the new motor.  How the hell do I
get this thing adjusted correctly?  There's gotta be some "trick" that's
not listed on the totally useless "instructions" that come with them.

Please help!

p.s.  I think my reverse light switch is out.  It's not the bulbs or the
fuse...
