idler pulley removal

How does one remove the idler pulley on a KX 2.2 I-5(C-GT)? I've got
the only bolt out(it's not a tensioner-just the single bolt, no spanner
neccesary) but now it seems stuck due to a tight fit. I don't want to
hammer away to loosen it for fear of damaging its insertion hole in the
engine. I have a new one so I could care less if I have to damage it,
but I'm looking for a smooth technique. THANKS.
