They all wear oval.  You probably still have an under-spec master cylinder.  Can
you polish both your shoes?   (Serious question.)

Well, Phil, your comment sounded like it was intended to be humorous, until you 
added "serious Question."  To honestly answer the question, I did not pull up on
my clutch pedal regularly, but only made the observation that I could.  If there
is any damage to my shoe as a result of a few times of this, it is not 
noticeable.  And since this was a few years ago, I have surely retired that pair
of shoes already.

Let me add to the technical side of this discussion:  Although Phil feels my 
master cylinder may be week, I want to assert that the amount of pedal hole wear
was quite heavy (like an oval with a 2:1 aspect ratio), and that upon welding 
and redrilling the hole, it has functioned quite well in my case, without 
replacing the master cyl.

Perhaps addressing both areas would be the ultimate in achieving an "as new" 
functioning clutch.
