As I seem to recall AutoWeek had a short notice several months ago pertaining
to Mercedes Benz's recommendation regarding the replacement of air bags.
 They, too, recommended replacement at 10 years.  However, after actually
testing 10 year old air bags they canceled their recommendation and now have
no period specified for replacement.
