G-tech performance guage

Has anyone used this product to test the performance of their vehicles?
I saw this product in the JC Whitney catalogue and apparently you hook it
up to your cig. lighter and it can automatically do 0-60 times, 1/4 mile
times, 
cornering g-force values, and horsepower readings.  It uses a risc processor
and some other gizmos to calculate the values.    I sounds kind of neat if it
acutally works with some degree of accuracy - thoughts anyone before I
order??
