IT'S REALLY ALIVE!!
Well guys I finally got the 4000QT fired up this weekend. I don't know what
was wrong but I swaped distributors with my 5000QT and the 4000 sprang to
life. The 5000 worked too!!. I guess I had the distributor way out of time
or something. Oil pressure was a cool 45 pounds at idle and while reving
jumped up to 80 PSI. Thanks to Scott Mockry for his troubleshooting ideas,
Steve Eiche for my ECU repair, Chris Semple @ Autobahn Motors for the coil,
and Rick Schwalenberg in Dallas for the spare crank sensors... Next on the
list is to plumb in the huge oil cooler and intercooler I have, and Complete
the interior reconstruction.
