CQ AC Question: Connector location

I'm trying to diagnose why my recently recharged 91 Coupe Q AC system
won't cool. It was recharged by the local Audi dealership, and they gave
up before they found out why it doesn't work. I think the compressor is
not turning (engine speed doesn't drop, front of pulley doesn't rotate -
is this a correct assumption?), and I've been plowing thu the shop manual
diagnosis tree. So far, so good, but: 

Where can I find the "AC programmer connector 'A'"? I need some voltages 
there. Somewhere accessable (this is my wildest dream...)?
