	I just called in and ordered a ticket, and thought I'd share it because
it's for a good cause. European Car is holding a Charity Raffle in
congruence with Families Without Homes or for those of us without deductive
reasoning... the homeless. 
	Anyway on August 23rd 1997 at 2PM at McDevitt Motors in Manchester, New
Hampshire they will be giving away a 1997 GTI and a credit worth $10,000 in
modifications that can be spent at any advertiser's business in that issue
of European Car (July'97 currently on sale). They are selling 5000 tickets
at $25 each and if you buy 5 you get one free. The order line is

	There is more info, but that's about all you'll need if you are over 18
and know you'll have to pay taxes. Check out the ad though on p. 42 of the
mag.
	And if you love your car more than a '97 GTI, put the $10K into your pride
and joy and sell the GTI or keep it as a daily driver. I'd personally trade
it for a Cabrio Highline so my wife could garage the Corrado and drive it
daily instead.
	Either way, it's a good cause. So check it out.
