>I own a 1994  S4  with 45K miles on it.  It is making a thumping noise out the passenger's side front suspension. It almost sounds like the suspension is bottoming.  The sound occurs while sitting if the wheel is turned slightly or if the car is moving forward or backward slowly like pulling in or out of the driveway in the morning.  Does the front strut have a bearing at the top that eventually wears out?   I already had the tie rods tightened.
