Dear Colin,

I don't think I can help you much except to say that the default setting for
a faulty AC programmer is air out defrost only.  I don't know if that would
also cause the other problems you listed. I have a whole bunch of ideas for
Climate control in general. If you would like it let me know but private e -
mail.
