Coy's

I think I've mentioned this before - but I had a word with the chairman
yesterday evening, so here's an update:

There will _NOT_ be a UK Audi quattro Owners Club stand at Coy's this year.

The organisers have given over the entire centre field to the Italian marques,
and have thereby relegated non-Italian marques to the truck park. The Aston
Martin Club, among many others, is similarly affected. Our chairman felt that
being so far from the action would do the Club no favours, and so has withdrawn
our application for stand space. The Historic Motorsport collection, including
the S1 quattro that will be appearing at Goodwood later this month, will also
_NOT_ be at Coy's this year.

The quattro Club facilities will be limited to a 70-place car park near the
Copse tunnel. Roughly the same place as last year, but three times the size as
a gesture of goodwill on the organiser's part. Who knows - we might manage
some form of hospitality.

Those who feel that the organisers' decision to inform us of this on the day
_after_ the special ticket deal for club members closed are entitled to their
opinion of Silverstone Circuits Limited.
