rad fan not running on in my '90 90

As I followed my girlfriend back home from dinner last night, we both pulled
in the garage, and I noticed my run on fan in my CQ always kicks on, but her
90's fan never does aftre the car is turned off....

What parts are associated with this function and any obvious things I sould
look at?  The only parts I know of is just the relay and sensor that is
mounted on the fan shroud, right?  Do the relays go bad, or the sensors, or
something else?
