Dare I? Royal? Lawton?

Had to go back to White Mountain National park to find out what the scenery
was like after the infamous "Kank Run" (aka: dumbest thing I've ever done
and we all should have gone to jail). Too busy dodging moose and SUV's.

I think I remember every bump on Bear Notch though (but unlike Glenn, I
lack the receipts to prove it).

Seriously though, The Kankamangus Hwy and all of the other roads through
the park up here in NH are absolutely amazing (not to take anything from
395 -- it's just different).

For those of you who ride bikes, ever heard of "The Dragon" in the Smokey
Mtn National Forrest ( TN rt 129). 11 miles long and 118 turns (can't be
more than 3-5 miles as a crow flies though!). The insides of all of the
switchbacks have gouges in them from foot-pegs.
