My car, with 105k, uses a quart of the same Mobil 1 every 2k and I change
mine 2x a year or about 4k intervals. I have assumed that it is just getting
past the rings and also getting blown into the intake system. I clean the
hoses, IC, and the plate and bowl once a year, and there is always oil there,
but not in serious amounts. Some in the air filter, too. I am curious what
the list will report on this, also.
