... keep your fingers and toes crossed that the hose doesn't pop off the 
radiator!  My main gripe with the plastic tanked radiators (and other 
plastic things in the cooling system such as the heater control valve) 
is that over time and with temperature the plastic gets brittle and 
breaks very easily.  My personal opinion is that being overzealous in 
tightening hose clamps doesn't help.  I understand that repair kits are 
available, but I'd recommend that you get a metal tanked replacement ... 
I'd be worried that if it could break somewhere today, whose to say where 
it will break tomorrow!
