RE: 86 5kcst - Top Speed in MPH?

A friend of mine has checked it for me in a catalogue some time ago. The
top speed for a euro-spec Audi 200 turbo ( MC engine, FWD, manual
gearbox ) is 216 kph (135mph). Quattro should be a little slower, FWD
with autobox should be a lot slower, but my 87 5KCST auto does about
210kph ( 130mph ) quite easily :-) Could it be speedometer inaccuracy?
