Audi Parts Dealer: Max McDonald

I totalled my 4kq last week end and I've been asking around to see if anyone
would be interested in the car if I bought it back from the Insurance Co.  I
ended up talking to Max McDonald, a Audi Parts Dealer and Salvage yard in the
North West.  He was interested in my car, and he said he had a very
comperable car that he could sell me if I was interested.  I am interested,
however, I've had some problems dealing with Max in the past and I want to
know if anyone else has had problems, and if I'd be stupid for buying a car
from him?  Any advice would be appreciated.
