distributor maintenance

My '86 4kcsq is nearing 130K miles and I'm going to give it some TLC.
Along with the need to replace all the radiator hoses (I figure 11 years
is a bit past useful life), replace the vacuum lines, etc., I'll be doing
the usual spark plug, distributor cap/rotor, probably spark cables. 

I do have a question about distributor maintenance. Back in my green and
salad days working on MGs, Jags, that kind of thing, I can recall adding a
bit of grease to the shaft upon which the rotor turned and also a bit oil
down in the inners. Anything similar recommended on my current obsession?
